Germany employed 150,000 immigrants in September 2022

Employment rates in Germany rose by 0.3 percent though seasonal employment has not been changed. Destatis revealed that the number of employed individuals rose by 0.5 percent in comparison to the same period in 2021.

The report also revealed that in September 2022, the number of seasonally adjusted workers was decreased by 4,000 in comparison to previous months through 45.6 million German residents were involved in employment.

The data also revealed that the adjusted unemployment rate in September was 3 percent which indicates that number of unemployed people is 1.3 million. In comparison to last year, this number was improved by 10.2 percent. In 2021, the number of unemployed people was 3.3 percent.

This indicates that 147,000 more immigrants were employed this month in the country.
