The UK has issued around 1.2 million UK visas in the first half of 2023.
The work visas issued by the UK are 45% more than in the preceding year.
The UK issued 121,290 Health and care visas, a 157% increase compared to the previous year.
According to the Department for Work and Pensions data, over 1 million foreigners have registered for a national insurance number this year.

The total number of UK Health and care visas issued to skilled foreign healthcare workers to work in the healthcare sector is 121,290.
498,626 student visas were granted to international students who wish to study in the UK.
372,000 dependent visas were granted to the family members of workers and students living in the UK.
The workers living in the UK had 218,000 dependents accompanying them, while students brought in 154,000 dependents.
