Express Entry Draw #317 invites CEC candidates

IRCC issued the most recent Express Entry draw on October 9, 2024. Express Entry draw #317 is the second draw this month. Around 500 eligible CEC candidates were invited to the latest Express Entry draw. Candidates needed a minimum CRS cut-off score of 539 to be selected.

Express Entry Draw

Express Entry is an application management system launched in 2015 to help IRCC select economic immigration candidates with the capacity to fill urgent labor force gaps. There are six categories in this draw such as:

 

• Healthcare
• Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions
• Trades
• Transport
• Agriculture and agri-food
• French language proficiency

 

Eligible applicants are evaluated based on their CRS score, which is based on work experience, age, language ability, education, and occupation. Applicants will also get additional points for migrating with a spouse or partner or having a sibling.
