As is learned from the Labor Force Survey 2022 report, here is some information about Quebec in September 2022.

  • The average wages of employees increased by 8.1% on a year-over-year basis in September 2022.

In fact, in 2021 itself, Quebec was projected to achieve an economic recovery more powerful than even the USA and EU. The 6% growth in GDP achieved by the Canadian province state in 2021 after the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, led experts to believe so and the province hasn’t disappointed.

The most significant factors that make Quebec’s economy successful and progressive include:

  • The economic diversity of the province is seen in the various industries active in the province. These include manufacturing, agriculture, transportation, biotech, healthcare & life sciences, education services, energy exports, multimedia, and financial services. Quebec’s reliance on these industries is equally distributed.

  • The province gives great impetus to businesses which in turn contributes well to the economy.
